EGR Delete Block Off Plate for Subaru EJ20 / EJ25

This is a baffle for the EGR valve. It is made of aluminum sheet, 5 mm thick. It comes with the original Subaru 14719AA040 gasket.

EGR Delete Plate for EJ-engins allows for the removal of the EGR system found on large range of EJ20 and Ej25 engines. The EGR system recirculates exhaust gasses from the head into the intake manifold causing an increase in intake manifold temps and carbon build up on the intake valves. Deleting the system will lower intake air temperature allowing for more power to be made as well as reduce carbon build up on the valves. Reducing carbon build up will reduce costs in the long run of intake cleaning and keep the car in top operating condition as mileage increases.
