Hood Scoop Splitter for Subaru Imreza 05-07 | GRB intercooler + STi air intake

Hood Scoop IC splitter for Subaru Impreza GD/GG 2005-2007 (Second facelift, Hawkeye) is needed if you replaced the standard cooler with a higher performance one from Subaru Impreza WRX STI GRB (2007-2014).
Rising Tuning's Hood Scoop splitter will help properly direct incoming airflow to the entire area of the upgraded top mount intercooler, while the rubber gasket on the bottom edge of the splitter creates a secure and tight connection between the splitter and intercooler - forming a straight tunnel. This increases the density of the incoming air and its incoming volume, allowing hot air streams to be diverted more efficiently and cooling the entire system as effectively as possible. Thus with the installation of the Hood Scoop IC splitter, the peak power of your Impreza 2 is increased by increasing the cooling potential of the system. If you do not install this splitter, you will not be able to realize the full potential and create alignment between the higher performance upper intercooler and the hood nostril.
