The body protection kit for the Toyota RAV4 - Fourth Generation, Facelift (XA40) includes:

Mission of the kit:
• The body protection kit reduces the chance of damage to the rear bumper paintwork when loading or unloading items from the trunk, and protects the sills under all doors and the interior surfaces of the rear passenger arches of your RAV4.

Material:
• High-quality ABS plastic (Thickness: 2 mm)

Surface:
• The surface has a “Sand” texture.
The “Sand” texture is more wear-resistant and less susceptible to surface damage compared to a glossy and smooth surface.

Compatibility notes:
• Please note that this body protection kit is only compatible with the facelifted RAV4 (2015-2018). If you have a pre-facelift fourth-generation Rav4 (2013-2015), you will need a different kit.

Installation:
Installation is simple. (For best results, the ambient temperature should be between 20°C and 30°C.)
• Clean and degrease the body surfaces.
• Try the parts from the protection kit on the body.
• Mark the edges with masking tape to indicate where the parts should be installed. 
• Peel off the film from the double-sided tape that is pre-installed on the parts. At this stage, you can add your own tape if you wish. 
• Stick the parts to the body of your car.
✅ Done.

Useful information:
• After a year of using the protective kit, you can restore the surface to its original condition.
• It's easy to do. Remove the body protection kit. Use a construction hair dryer to heat the surface of the parts. As soon as you see that the original color returns after using an industrial hair dryer, move on to the next area. It is important not to overheat the part so that it does not lose its shape, and to monitor the temperature. ABS plastic has memory, but it is important to monitor the temperature of the hair dryer.
• Heating smooths out micro-scratches and restores the original “freshness.”
• We do not recommend updating parts by heating them without removing them from the body. Heating them directly on the car can be a mistake. Not all of us have steady hands, and there is a risk of damaging the car's paintwork.
