This set of air intakes for Lada Niva 4x4 improve ventilation of the cabin when driving. The set consists of an air intake on the hood and two air intakes on the rear ventilation nozzles.

Aerodynamic features and design:
Functionally, the ventilation grille located on the hood is divided into two zones:
• Zone of air intake for the passenger compartment heater;
• The zone of ventilation of the underhood space.
In this regard, the overlay is also divided into two zones with countercurrents that do not allow mixing of flows, located in the same housing. Accordingly, they function differently.

Design and functionality:
The appearance of overlays was developed in accordance with the general design concept of the LADA 4x4 car. Therefore, these products organically fit into the exterior of this car, giving it new original features. In addition, these covers perfectly cope with the protective function, preventing free penetration of foreign objects, snow and water into the heating system, both when the car is moving (the entrance hole is located against the move), and when parked (from above the hood cover completely covers the grille). If additional cleaning of the body is required, these elements can be easily dismantled and reinstalled, which would not be possible with a non-separable connection.

Installation:
You can install the air intake on the hood by screwing through the vents, while the ears are attached directly to the body with self-tapping screws under the decorative plugs. It is also possible to install the rear air intakes with bolts and rivets - creating a more technological connection. If you do not want to drill the body, you can also fix the rear air intakes with adhesive sealant.

Aerodynamic features of the vehicle.
The movement of the air flow around the car during its movement plays a decisive role in the design of these overlays. 
• The air intake area is located in the zone of maximum compression of the air flow (in front of the windshield, against the car's movement), which causes high air filling of the system. On the contrary, the exhaust zones are located in the areas of maximum rarefaction (on the side of the hood lining and at the back of the side lining), which results in forced exhaust air extraction into the atmosphere (ejection process).
• The design of the covers ensures minimum resistance to air inlet and outlet, which in combination with the selected cross-section of the inlet and outlet windows ensures optimum ventilation of the passenger compartment.

Test and operation results:
• Cabin ventilation when the car is moving at an average speed of 60km/h has the required performance even with the heater fan switched off
• Heating of the passenger compartment is realized within a shorter period of time and has a more even distribution.
• No excessive misting of the passenger compartment in wet and snowy weather.
• Aerodynamic noise in the rear of the vehicle, especially in side winds, is significantly reduced.
